About Thomas Flaskamp
Thomas Flaskamp is the director of the Akademie für Handwerksdesign, part of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts Aachen. Following a hands-on craft training, he studied Industrial Design and gained extensive experience in innovation management, materials research and development.
He is also active in various start-up processes.A key aspect of his approach is working in interdisciplinary teams – at the intersection of design, technology and entrepreneurial thinking. At the Akademie, he promotes sustainable design and forward-looking strategies for the future of craft.
