After a commercial education and working in a medium-sized wholesale company, Au-erbach studied law in Trier and Bonn. In 2003, after working as legal counsel in a hous-ing association, he moved to Heimtex in the same position. At the end of 2009, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer there. He has also been Managing Director of “ViS” and “FMI” since 2013 and 2019 respectively.
