Beech lumber, edged, lightly steamed, KD, in up to 8 thicknesses, 8 lengths and up to 15 different grades

We are one of the largest European hardwood companies with mills in Heiligenkreuz (Austria) and Schwalmstadt (Germany). Our annual cutting potential is approximately 250.000m³. We are specializing in Beech.

We are producing edged, lightly steamed, carefully kiln-dried (KD 8-10%) lumber in an extensive product range and two product lines:

- Our standard products are pre-planed after KD before grading.
- XXL is our second line of products. The boards in this product line are all 25cm&wider and remain rough sawn. Invoice thickness is still 52mm, in reality they measure about 53-54mm.
- thicknesses: 23 – 80mm
- lengths: 2,05m – 4,05m
- grades: 9 standards grades, additional special-grades
 
In addition we produce substantial volumes of packaging material in form of cants or boards with the following potential additional features: groved, heat-treatment according ISPM 15, kiln-dried, etc..

Our mills are eco-certified according to FSC-, as well as PEFC-standard.

Our grading system is proprietary, but based on the American NHLA and our standard grades are globally recognized by demanding customers (SUPERIOR, CABINET, CUSTOM SHOP, COMMON SHOP, 1-FACE-grades, COLOUR-grades). They enable to choose the most suitable and the most economical material for a specific application. In addition to our standard grades we also offer special customer driven grades to provide flexibility for adapting to market trends.
