Nuxe is Decospan’s premium walnut collection. Walnut is one of the most valued and versatile wood species available. Deeply rooted in Europe's cultural history, this elegant wood species is treasured for its close ties to art and craftsmanship. Today, walnut is known for its intense colours ranging from light brown to dark chocolate brown, often with a subtle purplish hue. These coveted tones and complex grain patterns seamlessly fit into an organic, warm interior design.

NUXE: YOUR CANVAS FOR ANY DREAM INTERIOR

The collection includes matched panels, sheets and edge banding. The panels consist of a front layer of veneer, a MDF or chipboard and a back layer of veneer, any design is possible. Nuxe is an unfinished collection, allowing you to finish it according to your preference. Would you rather use oil for a natural flair, varnish for its protective properties, or change the undertone through staining? The choice is yours. Nuxe is your canvas.

Walnut has a rich colour palette and complex grain pattern. This hand-selected collection presents easy and consistent looks within the endless variety of walnut. Through our mixmatch jointing technique, we achieve a uniform look across a large number of panels.

Nuxe brings walnut into uncharted territory. Your standard book and slip-matched walnut veneer are a thing of the past. The entire tree, from core to sap, is showcased in all its splendor through mixmatch techniques. There are no monotonous colours here; instead, a full range of possibilities offers itself, from natural variations to new, dyed undertones. 

SUSTAINABILITY FROM WITHIN
Placing other wood species in the spotlight relieves the pressure on highly coveted wood species, such as oak. We aim to utilize ever part of the trunk and therefore reduces waste to a minimum. The wood for the Nuxe collection is sourced from responsibly-managed forests.
