Hawa Acoustics – Sliding solutions with sound attenuation

With Hawa Junior Acoustics and Hawa Porta Acoustics, Hawa is presenting two sliding hardware systems with optimized, all-round sealing. This ensures that the noise transmission from room to room with the doors closed is significantly reduced. While Hawa Porta Acoustics reduces noise by up to 39 decibels Hawa Junior Acoustics even achieves a reduction by up to 41 decibels.

However, tight sealing with high sound attenuation values does not just protect from noise, but also provides screening from unwanted odors, light incidence and drafts. The systems are therefore suitable for numerous applications. For example, sliding doors equipped with Hawa Acoustics effectively separate the home office, the kitchen or the bathroom from the living area in a space-saving way. Because of the reduced air exchange, they also improve energy efficiency.

The systems move doors weighing up to 100 kilograms extremely easily and quietly with their sliding characteristics and the force deflection of the horizontal seal. The Hawa SoftStop also provides a braked and cushioned closing movement. The Hawa Porta HMT Pocket Acoustics also provides additional operating comfort: It brings doors out of the wall pocket with a gentle tap thanks to Push-to-open operation with a soft closing mechanism.

Both systems can both be implemented a wall-mounted or pocket solution with identical sets, and also as floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. Because of the concealed technology, the fabricators can use standard doors, install the doors even after construction is complete, and adjust them later at any time.
