Three Main Types of Zig Zag Springs:

Superloop Springs
These springs are primarily used in chair backs. The most common sizes are 11 gauge (2.95mm) and 10 gauge (3.25mm), with 11 gauge being the preferred choice for most applications. Medium Loop Springs
Medium Loop springs are mostly used in motion furniture, with 4.00mm and 4.10mm being the most common wire diameters. In continental Europe, Medium Loop springs in sizes such as 3.60mm, 3.80mm, and 4.00mm are often used as alternatives to Zig Zag springs for seating applications.
