With its new central theme, Rethinking Resources: Circular and Bio-based Solutions, interzum 2025 will send out a strong message of support for sustainable furniture production. The trade fair concept itself is also focused on environmental awareness and social engagement.

As an exhibitor, you have the opportunity to visibly incorporate sustainability into your trade fair presence. Whether by reusing stand construction materials or by donating surplus food, you can demonstrate how you are taking responsibility – for the environment and for society.

Donate materials

Reduce waste, save on disposal costs and send a clear signal in favour of sustainability. In cooperation with TRASH GALORE, interzum is offering all exhibitors the opportunity to give away leftover stand construction materials – such as wood, banners and carpets – to social, cultural or charitable projects.

  • Support local initiatives
  • On request: dismantling and communication materials

Donate food

“Rescue” surplus food - instead of wasting it. In cooperation with the charity organization Tafel Köln e.V. and the Restanten Retter initiative, exhibitors can donate leftover goods from their stand catering to people affected by poverty in Cologne and the region at the end of each day of the fair.

The benefits for you:

  • Make an active contribution to help reduce food waste
  • Give support to people in need
  • Visible demonstration of social engagement

To make planning easier for the teams from Tafel and Restanten Retter, please register as soon as possible if you think you might have food to donate.
