Product Stage: Discover how design can be supported

Tecno Line is strongly convinced that today's technologies in steel processing can significantly support or characterise the design of furniture. For this reason, the project to help students from the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen with the development of new furniture such as chairs, tables, loungers, etc. was born. To ensure that innovative, creative ideas and concepts find their way into production and onto the market, Tecno Line organised the ‘Summertime’ competition with Prof. Matthias Rexforth, Aachen University of Applied Sciences. The interesting ideas and approaches that emerged were therefore not, as is so often the case, to end up in a drawer, but to be physically realised and experienced as prototypes. What was the result of this co-operation?
