The PM3D HAWK is the latest addition to the METIS offer (presented Q4 2024) and it’s specifically designed for the most demanding applications and for Prime customers that requires unique features not available in any other device. On Top of all the features already available in the METIS DRS Family of scanners, the new PM3D HAWK offers also: a very large acquisition format (260x155cm), the ability to scan the entire format at 1200PPI, optional configuration for optical resolution up to 7500PPI, extended illumination schematics (12 light directions), 2x Blue Lasers (for real 3D scanning and measurements), and much more.

Some of the unique features of METIS scanners are: the possibility to test and customize the light schematic in real time, generating of 3D/embossing data, Glossiness data, and much more. Additionally, METIS scanners can be used also for the marketing of the Décor product; this by generating standard PBR textures compatible with the most popular 3D software.

Metis comes from satellite digital imaging since 1975. METIS scanners are designed completely in house, produced entirely in Italy and its unique technology is protected by several patents (latest patent submitted in 2024).
